I contradicted myself going to see 2012 in cinemas, I said that I wouldn’t because I thought it was basically another The Day After Tomorrow(which by the way crashed and burned). But BOY was I pleasantly surprised, apart from the WAY over dramatic destruction scenes and the impossible escapes made by John Cusack in a frekin’ Limo.
The story line and developement was standard end of the world material, but excellent performances from Danny Glover as The President of the United States and from Chitewel Ejiofor as Adrain Helmsley. Also some great acting from Thandie Newton on her part, which made it WAY better than The Day After Tommorow.
If you are a sceptic (and Im not), and you truly believe this is a vision of whats to come then I look foward to 2012!
